My husband and I have just come back from a week long family holiday with our 2 year old son. We had a wonderful time and I learnt that television is no match for playing in the sand, that my son has a new penchant for honey toast in the morning and that blackout curtains are fabulous for long cuddly morning sleep-ins – something that we had thought were lost forever.
